3. This might be the deepest team in the country

For the 12th time this year, Michigan State had at least 10 players score a basket as the bench went off against Rutgers, out-scoring the Scarlet Knights' reserves 51-34. The only reason Rutgers had that many points is because one guy went off for 26 points (he averages just over seven).

Michigan State's bench could probably out-score any team's reserves in college hoops and these five guys who normally come off the bench are better than most starting fives around the country.

Frankie Fidler has been playing better lately and looked solid on Saturday against Rutgers with just four points but he had five assists, three rebounds, and a steal. Coen Carr had 14 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks and was perfect from the floor. Xavier Booker played much better, scoring nine points with four blocks and four rebounds. Carson Cooper was solid with five rebounds, a block, and three points. And Jase Richardson scored a career-high 20 points.

Michigan State's bench out-scored the starters 51-30 and continued to prove just why this is the deepest team in the country.
