2. Get Xavier Booker going

This is very specific because, well, I think this could be the difference between Michigan State getting bounced early in the NCAA Tournament and watching the final two weekends from home and the Spartans being on the biggest level in the sport come late March and April.

Michigan State has been feeding off some of the energy Xavier Booker has provided since the North Carolina game, but over his past couple of outings, he's been non-existent.

That has to change.

Watching him score just two points and look unenthused to be playing basketball against Western Michigan on Dec. 30 was disheartening given all the progress he's made but it's time for him to get back to the basics and invest his entire heart and soul into the team again.

If Tom Izzo can get Booker going, the sky is quite literally the limit for this team. Having him come off the bench and play 15-20 good minutes every game will make Michigan State very had to beat.
