3. Michigan State scores 90 for the third time in 5 games

Michigan State's offense has been much more effective in the half court this year than in the past 3-4 seasons and a lot of that has to do with the fact that every single player on the floor is a threat to put the ball in the basket.

From Jeremy Fears' threat in the mid-range or driving game to Szymon Zapala threatening to gobble up rebounds and score or even utilize an underrated post move to score, this team gets the job done.

The Spartans scored 94 against North Carolina in Maui, 90 against Minnesota on the road, and then 89 against Nebraska the following game at home (they should have hit 90 that time out, too) and then came back from a 10-day break, looked rusty, and still put up 77 on Oakland.

Now that the rust has been shaken off, Michigan State is going to put up some numbers offensively.

Florida Atlantic allows 76.8 points per game and the Owls have given up 90-plus just two times this season but that number will grow to three on Saturday. Michigan State will need to score a lot early to keep up with a suddenly-hot-offensively FAU squad and it'll head into the half with a 43-37 lead. The second half will be mostly favoring Michigan State as they hit 90 and hold the Owls to 74.
