Obviously the top candidate at this very moment, Urban Meyer has been talked about more than just about anyone, and for good reason.

There have been plenty of rumors swirling about him being the top candidate on the board for Michigan State and interest has been returned. We’ll see just how much interest he has in the Michigan State job because from everything I’ve heard from people I talk to, the Spartans are fully on board (except maybe Alan Haller).

Talks intensified earlier this week, according to multiple sources, before dying down at the end of the work week as he makes his way to Big Noon Kickoff.

Right now, no one knows where Michigan State and Urban Meyer stand, but even if there are ongoing negotiations, that’s a win for the Spartans.

If Michigan State can land Urban, the program would see an immediate momentum swing.
