1. Michigan State finally gets back into the win column

It’s been over a month. It’s been since mid-September since the Spartans were able to come away with a win and that came against Richmond before the whole Mel Tucker saga began.

Michigan State is in a heck of a drought.

The Spartans are going to end that on Saturday with an impressive road win over the Golden Gophers. They’re going to beat Minnesota despite being 6.5-point underdogs.

Why? We’re going to see Katin Houser bounce back.

And, well, Minnesota’s offense is just not good. The Gophers somehow have a worse offense than the Spartans, averaging just over 300 yards per game. Michigan State is going to play well on the defensive side of the ball.

Michigan State is going to pick up a big win to keep those (slim) bowl hopes alive.
