I bet you didn’t expect to see this name on the list, did you?

Urban Meyer has been trending all week long for a variety of reasons when it comes to Michigan State. Fans have wanted him ever since his name was rumored as a potential candidate weeks ago, but things really seemed to heat up this past week as Jason Brown, a former Last Chance U head coach who now has a successful podcast, stated that a source told him Meyer was in East Lansing and he’s interviewing for the job.

Meyer denied interest shortly after in any coaching jobs, stating that he was happy with his current life as a FOX Sports analyst.

But then rumors began to swirl again after Michigan State lost to Michigan by seven touchdowns. Fans knew that Meyer would be the real quick fix to this program.

So here we are with rumors still swirling about the two sides showing each other interest and, well, fans clamoring for him to be hired. He jumps all the way to No. 2 after being honorable mention last week.
