Folks, this is rock bottom. Michigan State football won’t get much worse than what we saw on Saturday evening in East Lansing. Michigan came in, ate the Spartans’ lunch, and left with a 49-0 win. It was just a nightmare.

The Spartans got down early and really never had a chance. Michigan scored a touchdown with eight seconds left to really rub it in, but if you don’t like it, stop it.

This was one of the most embarrassing losses I’ve ever seen in my life and this just feels like rock bottom. It can’t get any worse.

What’d we learn from this one?

3. The offensive line was overmatched from the get-go

It was evident early on that the offensive line just didn’t have what it took to pave the way for a decent run game nor did it do a very good job of protecting Katin Houser.

It’s actually almost a miracle that Houser only threw one interception because he was getting rushed within seconds on every single snap. He barely had time to think and you have to give him props for doing a decent job of protecting the ball outside of a pick-six.

This line has been one of the most disappointing aspects of the team this season and it just feels like there’s no improvement in sight.

Disappointing night from this unit.
