2. Famous alumni

Perhaps the most famous alumni from Rutgers is Tony Soprano himself, James Gandolfini.

The Capicola King was part of the graduating class of 1983 and went onto win three Emmy Awards for his role as the New Jersey mob boss. Other famous actors include Jane Krakowski, Avenger heartthrob Sebatian Stan, and Jaws star Roy Scheider.

Non-acting alum include Home Depot founder Bernard Marcus, Judith Viorst who went on to author the book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (an elementary school classic), and former New Jersey Governor and current unserious presidential candidate Chris Christie.
