2. Jaron Glover goes over 100 yards

This could have been Germie Bernard.

A year ago, Bernard was buried on the depth chart because of the trio of Tre Mosley, Keon Coleman, and Jayden Reed playing a bulk of the snaps at receiver. This led him to hit the transfer portal and head back home to Washington to play for the Huskies. It was a tough loss and it left a lot of question marks in the receiver room.

Through two games, it looks like Michigan State has plenty of talent still. Guys like Trey Mosley, Montorie Foster, Christian Fitzpatrick, Jaron Glover, Tyrell Henry, and Antonio Gates Jr. have all shown flashes of WR1 ability but the one has really impressed me the most.

That would be Glover.

The second-year wideout has been a rising star through two games, catching five passes for 135 yards and he’s about as sure-handed as they come. He makes some Reed-esque circus catches.

With Bernard returning to East Lansing this weekend, he’s going to see what he could have become under Courtney Hawkins’ tutelage in Glover.

I’m going with seven catches for 110 yards and a touchdown for Glover.
