4. Tre Mosley eclipses 1,000 receiving yards

Tre Mosley has 98 catches for 1,176 yards and eight touchdowns throughout his Michigan State career. I think he doubles his career yardage this season with a 1,000-yard campaign.

For years, Mosley was the second or third option. He had to fight for targets behind NFL receivers like Jayden Reed and Jalen Nailor and a future pro wideout in Keon Coleman. He’s finally getting his opportunity to be the WR1 in 2023 and the sure-handed pass-catcher is going to flourish.

Mosley reminds me a lot of some talented receivers who broke out late in their careers at Michigan State such as Tony Lippett and Aaron Burbridge. They had to wait their turns and they were always reliable, but they broke out in a big way in their final seasons in East Lansing. I think we’ll see the same from Mosley.

Unfortunately for Mosley, he won’t be able to capture the Big Ten Receiver of the Year award like the other two aforementioned MSU legends because Marvin Harrison Jr. exists, but he’ll be in the conversation at the end of the season.

I’m going with 68 catches for 1,036 yards and seven touchdowns for Mosley.
