4. Offensive line should be the best it’s been under Mel Tucker

For years, fans have been wanting and expecting more from the offensive line. It’s been years since that position group was a strength for Michigan State, but that’s about to change in 2023 thanks to Chris Kapilovic and Tucker making sure that was a priority on the recruiting trail.

That, and the fact that the group is finally healthy.

Depth is just something that hasn’t been present up front for the past three seasons under this coaching staff but that’ll be different in 2023 thanks to the returns of some veterans like JD Duplain and Nick Samac to go along with Brandon Baldwin, Geno VanDeMark, and incoming JUCO transfer Keyshawn Blackstock.

Behind each of those guys are quality pieces and if someone goes down, there’s not going to be a major drop-off in talent, production, and potential.

I’m very optimistic about this offensive line.
