I’m buying all the stock in Nathan Carter before the season so no one else can. While all the shares are in my possession, I can begin auctioning them off after everyone realizes he’s a stud after a strong season-opening performance against Central Michigan.

There’s just not enough hype surrounding this talented back from UConn.

While I was more invested in MarShawn Lloyd from South Carolina in the transfer portal and wish the Spartans went after him a bit harder, after looking into Carter a bit more, I grew more and more excited to see him in the green and white. I think this was the most underrated addition of the offseason, in terms of players.

Carter has made me a believer with his highlights from his UConn days and the fact that he was on pace to put up well over 1,000 yards in 2022 before an injury during his fourth game.

Michigan State had a tough go of things on the ground last season but I think the Spartans will be back on track with Carter, Jalen Berger, and an improved offensive line.
