Michigan State football has interestingly never played these FBS teams

Michigan State football vs. Power Five

We’ve gone through all of the Group of Five teams with a lot of unsurprising programs making the list of “never played” for the Spartans, but the Power Five list is much more intriguing.

I’d love to see Michigan State face any one of these teams.

Arkansas Razorbacks
Clemson Tigers
Duke Blue Devils
Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma State Cowboys
Ole Miss Rebels
South Carolina Gamecocks
Tennessee Volunteers
Texas Longhorns
UCF Knights
Utah Utes
Vanderbilt Commodores
Virginia Cavaliers
Virginia Tech Hokies

I was surprised to see just one Pac-12 team on the list but Michigan State has faced a number of them in recent years so it makes sense.

It surprised me that Michigan State had never faced Oklahoma or Texas, the top two names from the Big 12 over the years. It just feels like the Spartans should have run into one of those powerhouses over the course of program history, but I guess there were no battles. I hope that changes in the near future.

Also, I’d love to see Michigan State face Arkansas, Clemson, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. What teams do you want to see the Spartans schedule a home-and-home with?
