Michigan State football’s 2024 recruiting class should be on the rise again soon
June was pretty kind to Michigan State football. The Spartans landed six commitments in the month and they’re trending with a number of others.
Heading into July, Michigan State is hoping to land a handful of other recruits and, from the looks of it, the Spartans may be close to doing so. They’re trending for a number of top prospects, including Nick Marsh and Jason Brown.
Although June was a big month and shot Michigan State up from the 70-range to the 50s in team recruiting rankings, July could be even better.
The Spartans could soon see another round of commits.
Some major Michigan State football targets nearing decisions
Official visits may be wrapped up for the month of June, but the end of July could see a major boost thanks to Spartan Dawg Con. This is when former Spartans and top targets flock to East Lansing and spend some time with each other and the coaching staff, ending the night at Mel Tucker’s house.
Before that even happens, here are some big names who could potentially commit to the Spartans in July, and therefore show up to Spartan Dawg Con:
- Nick Marsh, 4-star WR
- Jason Brown, 4-star RB
- Justin Denson, 3-star DB
- Henry Hasselbeck, 3-star QB
- Javarius Green, 3-star WR
- Kamar Mothudi, 4-star WR
Of course, there could be others, but it looks like the Spartans are going to get hot again in the near future and the Tucker doubters will be silenced once again.
Michigan State could also end the month of June with a commitment from Tra’Mar Harris to get things started early.
Buckle up, folks, July could be a huge month.
