at Indiana (Nov 18th)

By darn near every metric, the Indiana Hoosiers were the worst team in the Big Ten last year which makes the Spartans’ loss all that much more infuriating.

It was Mel Tucker’s worst coaching performance, and he had some head-scratchers last year. Whether it was timeout usage or the indecision of going for a touchdown or field goal at the end of regulation, he shouldered a lot of that loss. But we have all had bad days at the office (I’ve said that about myself for the last 473 days in a row), and it just seems like there were a lot of distractions off the field to which Tucker had to shift his attention.

I think we can all agree that this roster is better than Indiana’s roster so then this game comes down to coaching and I don’t think Tucker makes the same mistakes this time.

Prediction: Michigan State 35, Indiana 17
