1. Wide receiver

This is the inspiration for this article and you can thank Keon Coleman for that.

The sophomore wide receiver decided to enter the transfer portal and play his (likely) final year of college ball somewhere that has an established quarterback. Sure, he could decide to come back to Michigan State, but I wouldn’t count on that happening.

Michigan State has been openly shopping for receivers over the past couple of weeks and Tyler Harrell from Alabama has been a name linked to the Spartans along with Grand Valley star Jahdae Walker. There are a number of really good receivers in the portal so if Michigan State can land one or two of these guys, I’ll like the receiver room a ton.

Plus, the Spartans are bringing back Tyrell Henry, Tre Mosley, Antonio Gates Jr., Jaron Glover, Christian Fitzpatrick, and Montorie Foster.

While the receiver room may be “fine” as is, it would make sense for the Spartans to go out and find another guy who could truly compete with Mosley and Henry for the role of WR1.

Next. Projected starting 5 with Malik Hall back. dark
