at Rutgers (Oct. 14)
If this team can’t beat Rutgers coming off a bye week, then the entire coaching staff should be fired. I don’t think that’s an outlandish take.
Last year’s matchup looked way closer on paper than what happened on the field. Shameen Jones caught a miracle ball on fourth down and 28 to cut the lead to six with 47 seconds left.
While I think Rutgers will be better this year, one step above horrendous is still awful.
Prediction: Michigan State 31, Rutgers 17
Next. Projected starting 5 with Malik Hall back. dark
