The 2023 Michigan State basketball recruiting class is one of the best of the Tom Izzo era and there’s a reason fans are so excited about this group.

Xavier Booker highlights the class as the highest-rated and one of Izzo’s best signees ever while Jeremy Fears Jr. is expected to be the next great point guard to come through the program. And then there are complementary pieces like Coen Carr and Gehrig Normand that both bring some really solid athleticism and can provide some juice off the bench.

For a while, the only recruit that was getting the warranted respect was Booker, but now it seems like recruiting experts are high on Fears and Carr.

Normand dealt with injuries that lowered his ranking quite a bit.

But on Wednesday, all finished in the top-100 of the latest Rivals150.

Where do all the Michigan State basketball signees rank?

According to the newest Rivals150, Michigan State has four of the top-81 prospects in 2023 and the highest is Booker at No. 15.

Although Booker dropped slightly, the Spartans had one of the highest risers in the class in Carr. The four-star forward from South Carolina jumped all the way to No. 32 which is up 62 spots from the last update which was in January. Fears dropped 10 spots to No. 36 which is a little surprising given how great of a year he’s had while Normand dropped 30 spots to No. 81.

Having four of the top-81 prospects in the class is a good look for Izzo and it feels like he’s going to build on this with an elite 2024 class.

Next. Projected starting 5 with Malik Hall back. dark
