Michigan State basketball: Top 3 remaining 2024 targets after Kur Teng pledge
Tom Izzo was actually in to check out Flory Bidunga last week just after Kansas State ended his season which just goes to show how highly he’s prioritizing the five-star big man.
Early on, many believed that Cincinnati was the leader to land him because his host family was affiliated with the Bearcats, but it feels like the longer his recruitment goes, the better chance Michigan State has to land him.
Bidunga is the perfect big man for Michigan State. If the Spartans can land a stretch four like Jesse McCulloch, Bidunga could hang out in the post and eat up paint points.
Imagine a post of McCulloch and Bidunga with Coen Carr and Kur Teng on the wings and Jeremy Fears running point. That lineup would be crazy dynamic and athletic and it could push for titles for years to come.
Bidunga is the center that every team wants in 2024.
Izzo will have to battle it out with some top schools for the nation’s No. 1 center in the class, but it feels like he’s right in the thick of things. He just needs to get an official visit from the big man.
