2. AJ Hoggard dishes 10 assists

Ever since AJ Hoggard dished 14 assists at Nebraska, he has only dished more than five assists one time. It felt like that game was going to springboard him into a barrage of assists.

But that wasn’t quite the case.

Fourteen assists in one game and then 18 assists in the four games since. It feels like he kind of got away with what made him so good. He’s a willing passer and one of the best in the country at facilitating and he’s going to have one of his best games on Thursday night against an aggressive Kansas State team.

I think we’ll see Michigan State shoot much better than it did in the first two games of the tournament and that’s going to balloon his assist numbers.

Hoggard will dish 10-plus assists for the first time in three weeks.
