Dislike: 3-point defense

Marquette averages about nine made threes per game (making about 35 percent of attempts). While they only made 11 threes in the this game, some of these threes they were taking were wide open.

On more than a few attempts, Hauser was hesitant to contest a shot where if he doesn’t stutter step towards the shooter, it’s a much lower percentage shot.

Also, defensive switches seemed to get the best of the Spartans for what seems like the second or third game in a row. Too much confusion on defense has led to way too many threes or easy layups and I’m sure it will be a main focus at practice this week.
