2. No threes, no problem
There was no living or dying by the three on Sunday. Michigan State fans loved to see this team scratch and crawl its way to a win without getting hot from deep.
No one thought that was possible before this game.
Michigan State was 2-for-16 from deep and still found a way to win by nine points and close the game on a run. That’s incredible grit and proof that this team can adjust to the elements of a 40-minute game. When the shots weren’t falling, they shifted to something that was: points in the paint and driving the lane.
The adjustment this team showed on the fly and the fact that they had their worst 3-point shooting game of the season and still won should instill a ton of confidence.
