2. Joey Hauser, Tyson Walker have to shoot more than 14 times

This team isn’t going to win many games with Joey Hauser and Tyson Walker combining for 14 total shots. Yes, Joey Hauser technically got more shots up than his five official attempts because he finished with eight free throws, but even then, he still didn’t reach 10 attempts for the game.

According to the stat sheet, Hauser was 3-for-5 from the floor and Walker was 4-for-9. That’s unacceptable.

Hauser still managed to score a team-high 15 points and Walker added 10, but there’s just no way that the team’s two best offensive players should be combining for just 25 points on 14 shots. They won’t beat many teams playing this passive.

Walker probably needs to shoot 15-plus shots moving forward (his best games are with him shooting 15-plus) and Hauser needs to be in the 10-12 range, at least. This offense was rolling with these two guys playing their best basketball and getting shots up.

The NCAA Tournament is upon us now and these two need to shoot much, much more.
