Michigan State Basketball: My top 4 favorite March memories

1. Michigan State 75, Michigan 63 (2019)

I know this isn’t an NCAA tourney game, but it did happen in March.

For Christmas in 2018, My fiancée got me MSU hoops tickets. When she bought them, she had no idea that the game would be the winner-take-all for the Big Ten regular season championship. We could have gotten 2-3 times the face value for those tickets, but there wasn’t a chance I was selling them.

It was my first game at the Breslin and as an added bonus, my fiancée (at this point, I knew I made the right decision to marry her) knew a Breslin employee so we got a private tour. The weight room, the practice court, the offices. All of it, in its championship glory.

We proceeded to watch Cassius Winston and the boys comeback in epic fashion to take home the 2019 Big Ten Championship. It was a scene I’ll never forget and will forever be indebted to my now-wife for the experience of a lifetime.
