Michigan State basketball: Report card for Senior Day win vs. Ohio State

Mady Sissoko: B-

Mady Sissoko didn’t get the start in order to make way for Malik Hall in the starting lineup and he still played OK off the bench with four points and seven rebounds, but his three turnovers were an issue. He needs to learn how to catch the ball without traveling or panicking.

Tre Holloman: B

Tre Holloman didn’t do a ton, but he’s always pretty solid when he’s on the floor. He doesn’t do too much and doesn’t make a ton of mistakes. He finished with a 3-pointer and an assist and didn’t turn the ball over. Just a solid eight-minute stretch of play.

Jaxon Kohler: C

It was kind of shocking to see Jaxon Kohler only play seven minutes but he didn’t look great, getting his only shot attempt blocked and he had two turnovers.

Pierre Brooks: C

We didn’t see a ton of Pierre Brooks again. He played just four minutes but he did take a 3-point shot which was good to see. He gets a C because, well, we didn’t see enough to give him anything higher.

Jason Whitens: Inc.

Jason Whitens got the start but only played two minutes. It was really good to see him out there getting a couple of minutes on Senior Day.
