3. Tyson Walker going under 25.5 points

Tyson Walker has gone over 25 points three times in his career at MSU: a home loss to Illinois in the 21-22 season (26 points), a home loss to Purdue (30 points), and at Iowa (31 points) this year (this is the last time I bring up this game, I promise).

It seems unfathomable that this team loses whenever Walker goes north of 25, so just to be safe, let’s keep Walker between 18-23 points.

The way he’s shooting, he won’t need all that many touches to get there.

2. Pierre Brooks hitting a layup, 3-pointer, and recording a steal

I know this one is asking a lot and by no means is this something I need to see. I think we all expected to see a little bit more Pierre Brooks this season and for whatever reason, it hasn’t clicked yet.

The Spartans have no shortage of guards but it would be nice to see Brooks help out if AJ Hoggard, Jaden Akins, or Tyson Walker get into foul trouble come the Big Dance.

Five points doesn’t seem like a lot but I think the more Brooks sees the ball go through the hoop, the more he’ll loosen up on the court, even defensively where he has been a liability at times.

Brooks’ minutes took a dive in February, perhaps rightfully so, but all I’m asking for is 12 minutes, five points, and one key defensive play.
