2. Joey Hauser hits five threes

Joey Hauser has been torching nets lately. The senior forward has been one of the best shooters in the Big Ten this season and confidence is oozing from his pores.

That’ll continue on Tuesday night.

Michigan State will need some veteran leadership to right the ship after the debacle that was the Iowa loss on Saturday afternoon and Joey will be just that. He’ll finish the game with five 3-pointers to lead the offense and he’ll make those five on just eight attempts. He’ll remain red-hot from 3-point range.

Over the past five games, Hauser has hit at least two 3-pointers in each outing. He’s 18-for-32 in that span which is incredible. Most players can’t even shoot 18-for-32 from the floor. Hauser is torching the nets for over 50 percent from three and he’s coming off a 4-for-4 game.

The last time he faced Nebraska, he was 2-for-7 from deep and had just 10 points. Hauser will have over 10 in the first half and he’ll double that output.

Big game for Joey Buckets.
