AJ Hoggard: A

AJ Hoggard had one of his roughest starts of the season with three turnovers early in the first half and he looked all out of sorts, but he figured it out as the time ticked off the clock before halftime. He only built on that in the second half.

In fact, Hoggard finished the game with 22 points on 7-for-9 shooting with five assists and three turnovers, but he had three giveaways early and was clean for the rest of the game. He also shot 7-for-8 from the free throw line.

It was a tale of two halves for the junior point guard from Pennsylvania as he finished the game with 17 second-half points. He was virtually impossible to stop.

What I said I wanted to see before the game was a more aggressive Hoggard and he was just that, driving the lane and finishing at the rim for some easy baskets. He could do this every single game if he wanted to.

Hoggard may have just taken a major step in the right direction.
