Jaden Akins: B

This wasn’t Jaden Akins’ best game, by any means, but it also wasn’t a bad performance. He finished with six points on two big 3-pointers to go along with four rebounds, three steals, and two assists.

Akins needs to be more aggressive with the ball in his hands and that’s really my only complaint about his performance on Tuesday night.

Like always, his defense was rock-solid and he’s been a plus rebounder from the wing position all season long but it feels like he’s only getting better. If he continues to defend at a high level and rebound well, the offense will come.

Michigan State has three guards who can score from anywhere on the floor and that’s a major positive heading into March.
