1. MSU picks up an important road win

Is this really a bold prediction given the fact that Ohio State has lost five in a row and 10-of-11? Honestly, yes, because there’s no such thing as an easy win in Big Ten play.

Especially considering the Buckeyes have one of the better rosters in the conference and were regarded as legit Big Ten contenders just a month ago. It’s hard to believe that the Buckeyes have gone from contenders to having a losing record in just over four weeks, but here we are.

I’ll be honest with you, something about this game worries me. Maybe it’s Ohio State playing with nothing to lose or the Buckeyes are just angry after losing to Northwestern earlier this week, but Chris Holtmann’s team is going to play the Spartans tough. This team is just too talented to just roll over and let Michigan State win.

But Tom Izzo knows just how important this game is. And he knows how winnable it is. This may be the most disjointed Ohio State team that I can remember and he needs to take advantage.

Michigan State doesn’t make it look pretty, but a win’s a win.
