OK, I’ve mentioned “revenge game” a couple of times already, but this is the ultimate revenge game for Michigan State. The Hoosiers were the team that prevented the Spartans from making a bowl game last season, coming from behind to beat Michigan State in overtime in a forgettable home loss.

Michigan State players will never forget that game.

Mel Tucker and the Spartans will exact some revenge here and prevent Indiana from making a bowl game by smacking the Hoosiers around in Bloomington to pick up win No. 8.

Prediction: Win (8-3, 5-3)

Penn State is going to be a lot better next season with Drew Allar at quarterback and that offense taking a big step forward and that’s bad news for the rest of the Big Ten.

Although I’m still unsure about James Franklin, I think he’s assembled arguably his most talented roster since he’s been in Happy Valley. His Nittany Lions are going to compete for a Big Ten title and getting Michigan at home will help their chances.

But they still have to get through a rivalry game in the season finale on the road and as we’ve seen in years past, Michigan State tends to win these games against Penn State in East Lansing. Not this time, though.

This will be a close game throughout, but Penn State wins on a last-minute field goal.

Prediction: Loss (8-4, 5-4)
