2. Tyson Walker has another career game

The last time Michigan State and Purdue met, Tyson Walker had a career game. While Zach Edey stole the show with 32 points and the game-winning bucket with just seconds remaining, Walker had himself one of the best single games of any Big Ten player this season. He nearly willed the Spartans to a win at home.

Now he’ll get another crack at Purdue.

And he loves playing Purdue.

In case you don’t remember, he hit a game-winning three a year ago to beat the Boilermakers in the Breslin Center and he just had a career game against this team that couldn’t seem to guard him just last week.

Walker has struggled a bit offensively since and has been dealing with a stomach bug, but I think he’ll have another big game to keep the Spartans in it at Mackey Arena on Sunday afternoon.

He won’t quite hit 30 points, but I could see him approaching that mark with 24 and four big 3-pointers. Have to keep switching Edey onto him.
