Malik Hall: A

Malik Hall had the best game of any Spartan on Thursday night and he was a sight for sore eyes. He returned after a two-week absence following an injury suffered against Illinois and he looked like he didn’t even skip a beat. He played 25 minutes which was surprising and had 11 points with four assists and three rebounds. Hall was also a big reason why Kris Murray didn’t go off. Malik gets the only solid A from Thursday night’s win.

Pierre Brooks: C+

He didn’t do much, but he at least got into the scoring column with a couple of free throws. Hopefully seeing those shots fall from the charity stripe will improve Pierre Brooks’ confidence because it’s unacceptable for him to take zero shot attempts in 12 minutes as a shoot-first wing.

Jaxon Kohler: C-

Not a great game for Jaxon Kohler as he played just seven minutes, picked up two fouls, and didn’t make a single shot on just one attempt. He’s in there for his offense and he wasn’t able to contribute on that end while being a liability on defense against Filip Rebraca.

Tre Holloman: C

Kind of a forgettable performance from Tre Holloman. He played just six minutes, picked up two fouls, and had a bad turnover on an inbound play. He did have a rebound and an assist, however.
