Joey Hauser: B

It wasn’t a great game for Joey Hauser as he was just 4-for-10 from the floor and had a couple of bad turnovers but he made up for the rough play with a couple of big threes in the second half.

When Michigan State needed some big shots, Joey stepped up.

Hauser hit a big three in the corner on an assist from Jaden Akins and then another at the top of the key with a defender falling down in front of him. He almost hit his fourth three that rimmed out (somehow) and would have put the game away for the Spartans.

His defense wasn’t all that bad on Kris Murray. He helped the effort to hold the Big Ten’s leading scorer to just 11 points on 5-for-13 shooting.

Hauser also added six rebounds and avoided an injury that had every Spartan fan holding their breath in the first half.
