Tyson Walker: A-

How do you even follow up a career performance like the one Tyson Walker had on Monday afternoon against Purdue? Well, he did a solid job.

No, Walker didn’t score 13 again on over 50 percent shooting, but he did make 60 percent of his 3-point tries and finished with a modest 12 points in an all-around solid performance. He didn’t wow the crowd like he did against the Boilermakers, but the Spartans didn’t need him to do that because the scoring was as balanced as could be.

Walker was 4-for-10 from the floor, showed confidence in his long-range jumper which is something we all want to see and he made his only free throw attempt.

On top of that, he was able to bring in three rebounds (want to see more rebounding from the guards) and had four steals with just one turnover. He didn’t have any assists, but when he’s playing off the ball so much, you don’t expect that from him.

A solid follow-up performance from Walker.
