As the 2023 recruiting class comes to a close within the next month, Michigan State football will try to put the finishing touches on what was one of the best classes in program history.

The Spartans landed one of the top 25 classes for 2023 and yet they might not be done quite yet.

Over the coming weekend, Michigan State will be hosting one of the top uncommitted offensive linemen in the 2023 class who also happens to be one of the fastest risers: four-star Chimdy Onoh. He’ll be on campus on Jan. 20 for his second-to-last official visit before taking one final trip to Ole Miss on Jan. 27 before signing day.

Chris Kapilovic and Mel Tucker are putting in the work to finish the 2023 recruiting class on a high note with its best offensive line haul yet.

Onoh would cap off quite an OL class for Michigan State football

While the Spartans missed out on their prized target in five-star Samson Okunlola on the offensive line as well as guys like Chase Bisontis and Madden Sanker, Onoh would be the perfect way to end a class that’s already the best for the position group since this staff took over.

Despite losing Johnathan Slack, Michigan State brings in four-stars Stanton Ramil, Keyshawn Blackstock, and Cole Dellinger. This group is very solid.

Add a guy like Onoh who is just scratching the surface and has surged all the way up to the No. 236 overall prospect in the class, per the composite, and you have a top-tier offensive line class that sets the table for future success.

Tucker and Co. need to make this final push and pull out a big recruiting win.
