Joey Hauser: A

Joey Hauser played one of his best games as a Spartan on Tuesday night as he was hot early on and just didn’t quit throughout the game.

He only took two threes and made two of them, and one of the main reasons for that may have been because of what his mom told him after the Michigan game.

Hauser didn’t look to shoot many threes and finished with 4-of-5 shooting inside the perimeter. He looked much more aggressive with the ball in his hands against the Badgers and Tom Izzo has to love seeing that and want more of that moving forward.

While he scored a game-high 20 points in his Wisconsin homecoming, he also hit a huge 3-pointer with MSU trailing by one with a couple of minutes left to give the Spartans a huge 61-59 lead.

On top of the offense, he finished with eight rebounds and just played really well on both ends of the court.
