1. Michigan State covers the spread

Michigan State is just 5-7 against the spread this season which is obviously disappointing and I’d be lying if I said I haven’t gotten burned by this team blowing huge leads to win tight games. Spreads have been fumbled by the Spartans all year long.

Not on Friday evening.

Malik Hall is back, Jaden Akins is heating up, Joey Hauser is playing really well, Tyson Walker is about to go off, and Mady Sissoko is coming off his best game in weeks. Michigan State is going to finally roll to a solid victory after struggling to put teams away all season long — and, yes, that does include Oakland.

The spread for this game is 16 points in favor of Michigan State and I can see the Spartans covering that spread and winning by about 20.

Buffalo has had two true road games this season and it’s lost by an average of 19 points. Michigan State at full strength is one of the better teams in the country.

I’m going with a 76-56 win.
