2. Tunmise Adeleye, DL, Texas A&M transfer

There’s been talk that Tunmise Adeleye will be committing any time now and he may even make it official right after I post this, but that’s just fine. He’s an ideal addition to the class.

Although he’s played just two career games at Texas A&M, he finished with six tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss, and his potential is through the roof. He’s considered one of the top transfers in the portal right now because just one year ago, he was a borderline five-star defensive line prospect out of Texas. He committed to the Aggies with the hopes of cracking the starting lineup but that just didn’t happen.

Now he wants to head somewhere that he’ll be utilized heavily and Brandon Jordan’s relationship and the opportunity in East Lansing might pull him toward the Spartans.

The crystal balls were rolling in for Michigan State to land Adeleye on Monday night, so we’ll see if they come to fruition and he’s donning the green and white before we know it.

The staff (and fans) is drooling over a defensive line that features Khris Bogle, Adeleye, Ken Talley, Derrick Harmon, Alex VanSumeren, Bai Jobe, Avery Dunn, Simeon Barrow, Tank Brown, Zion Young, Andrew Depaepe, and Jalen Thompson.
