2. Tyson Walker has major bounce-back game

Tyson Walker had his best four-game stretch since becoming a Spartan against Villanova, Alabama, Oregon, and Portland a little over a week ago, but he has been quiet since.

Why? It might have something to do with a family member passing away prior to the Notre Dame game and he only found out right before the game. He played his worst game since Kentucky, going 4-for-13 from the floor and finishing with just two assists and two turnovers in a 70-52 loss to the Irish. It was obvious that his struggles messed with the offensive flow.

And then against Northwestern, he shot much better, going 4-for-6 from the field with nine points, but he was in foul trouble for most of the game. He played a season-low 26 minutes and had to be passive more often than not in order to avoid picking up a fifth foul.

Walker is going to bounce back against Penn State and have his best game since scoring 22 against Villanova, finishing with 20 points and five assists with just one turnover. He’ll also be 3-for-6 from long range.

This is the kind of game MSU needs from Walker consistently.
