1. Michigan State pulls off the upset

OK, so I’ve been saying all day long that the Spartans are going to cover and I’m really just going with my gut here and taking it one step further.

Michigan State is going to pull off the upset.

The Spartans proved to everyone else as well as themselves that they can play with anyone in the country by taking Gonzaga down to the wire and I think with a hobbled Oscar Tshiebwe, they’ll give Kentucky all they can handle.

Michigan State should have better guard play even though Kentucky is loaded once again and the only question mark is the post play with Mady Sissoko against Tshiebwe. I think Mady will get the job done and hold his own.

This one will be tight throughout, but I’m predicting a big top-five upset for the Spartans here.
