1. MSU wins by 10-plus points

I’m going to be completely honest, I haven’t even taken a look at the spread for this week’s game, but if I had to guess, it’d be somewhere around Michigan State -7.5. I do think the Spartans cover if that’s the case.

Michigan State is going to beat the Scarlet Knights for a second straight season, giving Mel Tucker a winning record against Greg Schiano in three years.

The Spartans had their way with the Scarlet Knights in Piscataway last year thanks to Jalen Nailor and Kenneth Walker III but both of those guys are gone which means different players will need to step up. We’ll see a different Jalen (Berger) rush for over 100 yards and Jayden Reed will have himself a big day alongside Keon Coleman as well.

Tucker is going to have this team ready, Scottie Hazelton will call his fourth straight solid game, and Payton Thorne will have a solid game with no mistakes.

Michigan State wins this one by 10-plus points.
