2. Pierre Brooks scores 10 off the bench

I was a little underwhelmed with Pierre Brooks’ first performance since he reportedly had a great offseason and luckily it was just a warm-up game that didn’t count for anything.

But I think he bounces back against Northern Arizona on Monday.

Brooks has reportedly taken a big step this offseason and he figures to play an extensive role off the bench this season. He lost some weight and looks like he’s going to be a legitimate threat to make shots off the bench and be one of the team’s most improved players.

A year ago, he played sparingly and didn’t quite have the stroke that we all expected. We’re going to get a taste on that improvement against the Lumberjacks.

Brooks is going to come off the bench and score at least 10 points, making a couple of threes in the process on five attempts from deep.
