4. Four players average 10-plus points

Michigan State has a really balanced attack and it showed against Grand Valley that anyone could really take over and lead the team in scoring.

In fact, all five starters scored in double figures in that exhibition opener.

Malik Hall is my pick to lead the team in scoring this season, followed closely behind by Tyson Walker and AJ Hoggard. Then there’s Joey Hauser who could go off on any given night. The surprise double-figure scorer against Grand Valley was Mady Sissoko who looked like a completely different player.

I think Hall, Hoggard, and Walker all average in double figures, and either Hauser or Jaden Akins, assuming he becomes a starter, will score somewhere around 10 points per game.

This balanced scoring attack is going to make it tough for opposing teams to game plan for.
