No one is giving Michigan State football much of a shot on Saturday evening, but the Spartans could come out and shock the Wolverines for a third straight year.

While they could, I don’t think it’s likely that the Spartans pull off the upset this time around.

Michigan State enters this game as a 23-point dog and predictions are rolling in for an even bigger blowout.

What’s going to happen on Saturday? Let’s get bold.

3. Elijah Collins leads Michigan State football in rushing

We’ve all been calling for this for weeks: Elijah Collins needs to be RB1.

The veteran running back has given his all to this program and he’s battled back from a couple of tough years to look like the best the Spartans have in the backfield. He’s been as good as anyone on the team this year in terms of running the ball and he’s always gaining positive yardage. Plus, he knows this rivalry well.

Collins is going to get a good chunk of the carries on Saturday night and I could see him turning them into somewhere around 50 rushing yards, leading the team.

Jalen Berger will get the start and we’ll still see some Jarek Broussard, but Collins will be RB1 for the Spartans against Michigan.
