1. Michigan State football lands at least one commitment

I know, I know, this isn’t game related, but I don’t feel like talking about how much Ohio State is going to beat Michigan State by. It just seems like overkill at this point.

I don’t think this game will be particularly close, but the huge recruiting weekend will pay off.

Mel Tucker has a ton of top recruits coming to see the Spartans take on the Buckeyes and he’ll be able to sell them on early playing time.

“Did you see how CJ Stroud torched our secondary for a second straight year? Yeah, well you can help prevent that from happening next year.”

That’s a heck of a sales pitch to a young recruit who’s looking to play early.

Michigan State will land at least one 2023 commitment this weekend and maybe even dip into the 2024 class as well.
