1. Michigan State football covers vs. Michigan/OSU, beats Wisconsin

I know this isn’t what anyone wants to hear, but it’s really the best we can do right now.

After this three-game losing streak, fanbase morale is down and if Michigan State was 5-0 or 4-1 right now, Spartan Stadium would be rocking for the Ohio State game. I just don’t see that being the case this weekend, however.

Spartan Stadium may be quieter than usual for the Ohio State game unfortunately and the spread is likely to be somewhere in the ballpark of 3-4 touchdowns in favor of the Buckeyes but I don’t think this is a team that will quit. The Spartans will keep this much closer than people expect and cover that spread. Again, we don’t like moral victories here, but it is what it is.

Then the Spartans will host Wisconsin for Homecoming and while the Badgers are always a tough test and Michigan State hasn’t beaten them in a while, it gets the win here.

After a bye week, Michigan State will get rival Michigan in Ann Arbor and the spread will be fat once again but the Spartans will cover.
