2. Michigan State football outrushes Minnesota

This is crazy, right? Well, it’s at the very least bold and that’s what these predictions are all about.

Minnesota averages over 300 yards per game on the ground and the Gophers have the No. 2 run game in the country. So why would I even believe that the Spartans have a chance to outrush Mohamed Ibrahim and the Gophers? Because that defensive line of Minnesota is unproven and the Gophers’ strength on defense is against the pass.

Is this a valid reason to believe that the Spartans, coming off a sub-50 rushing yard performance against Washington will outrush the No. 2 run offense in the country? Probably not, but I’m being bold here.

Jalen Berger and Jarek Broussard and even a little Elijah Collins sprinkled in will get back on track against Minnesota and put all the worries and doubts to rest.
