2. MSU has the nation’s most dangerous RB duo

Jalen Berger and Jarek Broussard have been just about everything that fans could have hoped for through the first two contests.

Berger has been the starter, getting most of the carries and he has two 100-yard games already. He’s on pace to be Michigan State’s next 1,000-yard rusher after Kenneth Walker III.

But then there’s Broussard who has 130-plus rushing yards of his own. He has been the lightning to Berger’s thunder and both have complemented each other very well. When Berger picks up a chunk of yards between the tackles, Broussard can come in and beat guys around the edge for another big gain.

Both are on pace to push over 800 yards (as stated, Berger is on pace for over 1,000) and that has to make fans and Mel Tucker very happy.

Some have even dubbed this the best running back duo in the country. That might be a fair overreaction after two games, but let’s see what they can do in Big Ten play first.
