3. Jarek Broussard takes over as RB1, rushes for over 400 yards

I’ve been saying this all offseason, but I’m just going to come out and say it one more time: Jarek Broussard is my pick as RB1 this season.

I’ve also said that I believe Jalen Berger has a really productive year as a complementary back and he takes over once Broussard leaves. This is not a slight at Berger, in the least.

With that being said, Broussard is going to win the starting job in September and rush for over 400 yards. The Colorado transfer and former Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year is going to average over 100 yards per game on the ground and he’ll really give fans flashbacks to that legendary back from a year ago. No, he’s not going to be K9, but he’ll have his moments.

Broussard will have a big month and even with him averaging 100-plus yards per game, Berger will still rush for 150-200 yards total.

Not a bad one-two punch to have.
